What is Plasmage?

The Plasmage device is used to treat medical and cosmetic conditions in a safe and effective method of non-invasive microsurgery. The device works on the basis of plasma energy and is used for tightening of skin folds.

Plasmage is used for skin aging problems. It is a safe method that is suitable for any skin type. For example, for:

Eyelid surgery (upper and lower)
Tightening of the skin folds along the ears
Tightening of the neck, eyebrows and corners of the mouth
Removal of pigmentation marks
Removal of small skin abnormalities such as warts, skin bulges, etc.

The treatment?

Plasmage works on the basis of plasma created by ionized gas molecules. The needle is held just above the skin, a kind of “lightning” is briefly visible, point by point the treatment area is treated. The skin is not being touched. In response, the skin fibers contracts creating a tightening effect.



What can I expect after the treatment

The recovery time is generally 4-7 days. After the treatment, slight swelling may occur, this swelling remains on average 1-3 days. Immediately after the treatment, small encrustations are visible. These crusts come loose and fall off the skin after 5 to 7 days. It is important to keep the skin well hydrated, in our clinics professional skin care products are offered. The doctor can advise you on this. The skin should be protected after the treatment with a sunscreen against damaging sunlight. To cover the treated area, foundation can be applied.

The treatment lasts approximately 30-60 minutes.

After the treatment, your skin will tighten and look younger. The treatment with plasma provides indirect stimulation to the deeper skin layers. This stimulation encourages the production of new collagen and elastin. Because of this effect and the restructuring of connective tissue, the treated areas will get an extra boost in their firmness.
