What is Cellfina?

Cellfina® tackles the structural cause of cellulite in just one treatment. Cellulite is a skin condition where underlying fat deposits begin to exert pressure due to weak connective tissue under the skin. This creates dimples in the skin that are quite unpleasant. The cosmetic clinic Medica Estetica is 1 of 3 clinics in the Netherlands that is allowed to perform the Cellfina® treatment. Am I suitable?

Cellulite occurs mainly in women. Especially after puberty, 80% to 90% of women suffer from cellulite. The chance that men will suffer from it is much smaller. Cellfina® is suitable for anyone with cellulites.

The treatment?

Cellfina® is a new and unique treatment for cellulite. The technique uses Tissue Stabilized-Guided Subcision (TS-GS). This is a technology to treat the underlying structural cause of cellulite. This technology uses a vacuum handpiece to stabilize the tissue, while a moving micro-blade loosens the connective tissue strands that cause cellulite.



What to Expect after the treatment

You can see improvements after only three days. Optimal results can be seen between 3 months and 1 year after Cellfina® treatment. These results last on average at least 3 years.

The treatment takes about 45-60 min, depending on the treatment areas and the number of pits.

The Cellfina® treatment tackles the connective tissue strands that are interwoven between the skin and the grease in the thighs and buttocks. Some of these strands eventually contract and then stiffen, pulling the skin down and causing the unwanted dimples you see on the surface of the skin. The Cellfina treatment ensures that just like a rubber band under tension, the treated skin springs back to smooth skin after the connective tissue strands are loosened.
